Machu Picchu: Mighty Mountain Peaks

Cloud Stomping upon the Mountain Tops The Mighty Machu Picchu Aguas Calientes  We left Cusco at eight in the morning and drove a very scary taxi ride to a town call Ollantaytambo to catch our train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, or Aguas Calientes, or Machu Picchu village, there are a lot of names. I feel we were particularly on edge as despite asking for a different taxi driver, we ended up with the one who had involved us in a car accident and then overcharged us, a mere few days beforehand. This wasn't the greatest of starts to our journey into the mountains. The ride itself consisted of beautiful scenery rushing past at maniacal speeds. The occasional car that we nearly hit as we dangerously overtook a lorry. But also many beautifully constructed Incan ruins. Though perhaps the most curious thing we saw was a hotel perched in glass tubes on a cliff, no thanks... The grey specks on the top right are hotels Ollantaytambo was no exception to the beauty of Peru . Mountai...
